We were present at La Folle Journée de Nantes, one of the biggest classical music festivals in Europe.
Based on an original idea by René Martin, La Folle Journée is a cultural event supported by Nantes Métropole and the City of Nantes, conceived by CREA and produced by La Cité des Congrès de Nantes.
We were eager to celebrate our return with many artists with no less than eight Pleyel pianos that were played during the festival from 1 to 5 February.
On this occasion, the public was able to discover our F190 Walkyrie grand piano on the Pleyel Kiosk, in the centre of the great hall of the Cité des Congrès in Nantes. The Kiosque Pleyel offered the discovery of several musicians on the theme of the festival: "Ode to the Night".
120,000 tickets were sold to come and applaud the 2,000 artists who performed in 267 concerts and received 20 hours of airtime on France Musique and three concerts broadcast on the Arte television channel.
In the artists' rehearsal rooms, the Espace Pleyel of DESEVEDAVY PIANOS provided several models of the legendary P series. This series of upright pianos consists of two models: the P124 and the P131, allowing the greatest international pianists of renown such as František Janoska, Abdel Rahman El Bacha, Alexander Malofeev, Bertrand Chamayou, Dmitry Masleev, Fanny Azzuro, Jean-Marc Luisada, Marie-Ange Nguci, Luis Fernando Pérez, and many others to rediscover our instruments with their emblematic French sound.
