Grand piano P217 VOIE LACTEE Putman
Grand piano – P204 model. Limited series of 8 pieces.
Signed by the designer, numbered and stamped by Pleyel. Year of first production: 2008.
This
grand piano of 2m17 was created with the harmonic structure of the
grand piano of 2m04, heir of the mythical Pleyel n°3 model, chosen by
the greatest concert pianists like Alfred Cortot.
This limited series
piano is an extremely luxurious version of the « Voie lactée » piano
designed as a life-size musical box. The Milky Way painted inside the
lid in indigo and navy blue lacquer is covered by a constellation of
stars and constellation points inlayed with mother of pearl. The music
stand and piano prop in black and white checkerboard pattern is in
Corian.. The
«Satellite” piano bench is padded with horse hair. So many refinements
adding to the rarity of this limited series of eight.
